Upload Information

Steps to help you upload your info to the secured portal

If you indicated on the “Get Started” page or “Move Forward” page that you would like to upload information, here are the steps.
Note: if you have just decided to upload information to me, first send me an email and I will set you up so you can follow the steps to upload information.

3 Steps to Begin Uploading

Don’t do anything until you receive (2) emails from me. This is what you should receive:

  1. One email will say “Welcome! You have been added to the account for Barb Brady CPA”. There will be a link to activate your account at the secured portal.
  2. Another email will be informational and say “Barbara Brady has shared the folder with you”.  (Note: the name of the folder will be your name.) If you lost the first email, there is also a link here to activate your account at the secured portal.

Now that you received the emails, it’s time to formally activate your account on the secured portal.

  1. Click the Link from either email (it is the same) to activate your account at the Sharefile Secured Portal.
  2. *Important: input your phone number –  then check your texts for a verification code.
    • Note: You use this email link only the first time. If you don’t input your phone number for verification or if you start clicking and get out of the basic process, I have found there may be issues.  Just email me and I will send you another link.
  3. Once in, create a password.
  4. You should now see your folder.
  5. After you activate your account, you will receive a confirmation email.

Once you are at your folder in the portal,  click the “+” button on the top right, and choose upload.

Find the file on your computer that you want to upload and drag them to the big box.  Click Upload. That’s it!

Going Forward, if you need to come back to the portal to upload additional documents, you can use the link below and sign in.

Step 2: Activate Your Account
